XBOX explosion

Two weeks ago my XBOX exploded. All I remember was a loud BOOM and a foul smell in the living room. It wasn’t my fault…well sort of. I plugged in my 120V 60Hrz XBOX onto the European outlet without using the converter…Yeah yeah I know what you will say…but you have to hear my side of this story.XBOX
Since we have several US and non-US computer parts my Hubby has a rather sophisticated wire mess in our living room that requires an IQ of 250 in order not to make a mistake. Okay, maybe I am exaggerating a bit but IT IS confusing. So “My Dear Hubby that I love so much” decided to switch the order of some of the cables without telling me. Incidentally I plugged the XBOX and BOOM: hardware crime scene in the living room!
But today life is good because “My Dear Hubby that I love so much” fixed my XBOX by replacing the dead power supply with an European one and I just can’t stop smiling again. I love you ‘oney.

Easter in the Allgäu

My Hubby comes from the most beautiful corner in the world: The German Alps in Bavaria, with the typical German houses decorated with flower boxes and cute sheeps running around the green grass. Forget about Munich or Berlin, the Allgäu is just drop dead gorgeous. The area is so pretty you can only stop and stare. You can even see some inhabitant wearing the traditional lederhose and dirndl. At the same time it’s a great place for snowboarding and serious mountain biking. One of the guy who won 3 gold medals at the Winter Olympics, this year, comes from the Allgäu. So now you know what this mountain fresh air can do for you !
