Current Role: As the Head of Application Engineering at the Swiss Stock Exchange (SIX), I lead a dynamic team in driving technological advancements and ensuring the seamless operation of critical financial systems. My role involves strategic planning, overseeing software development, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Professional Journey: Before joining SIX, I served as a Big Data Architect, Governance, and Security expert at Credit Suisse. Here, I collaborated with various finance functions and IT departments to establish robust data governance frameworks and implement cutting-edge big data solutions. My tenure at Credit Suisse also included leading a team of business analysts in delivering regulatory reports and managing the treasury risk and finance group’s big data initiatives.

Prior to that, I was a Lead Business/Data Analyst, focusing on enhancing cross-asset enterprise data warehouses and supporting global market data processes. My early career includes roles such as a Java Developer for UBS’s treasury department in New York, San Francisco, and Toronto, and as a Software Engineer at Banco Espirito Santo.

A Little About My Journey: My journey in technology began at 13 with a deep fascination for how things work and a desire to solve complex problems. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with some of the brightest minds and most innovative companies, driving projects that push the boundaries of what’s possible with AI and data science. This experience has fueled my commitment to sharing knowledge and fostering a community of like-minded individuals who are as excited about the future of technology as I am.
